If you are just starting out with this and can't keep up Thrive on Chaos, consider switching to Slaughter until you can cruise through more efficiently. Also use one of the armor passives instead of animosity if you are taking too much damage. Lastly, try using the life steam rune if you can't afford some LS gear, even 3% is very effective if you do over 90k dps.
