Yeah its true. But the game is still in development don't curse until the final product is released. Plus the graphics are awesome.

to be honest i like it better lighter, i played D2 when i was in 2nd grade, and when it got to the scarier, darker parts, i just told my older brothers to do it.

More black DOES NOT EQUAL more dark. All it does is let you see less on your screen. Night skies aren't even truly black - if you look at them there is color and shades of dark blue. Blizzard is capturing a dark but rich looking game with their current design.

its not about the lightning.its about the models. big armors and cartoon like feel of the game.if you would have ever played diablo u would know that it doesnt resemble anything like wow.
people are expecting diablo 3 to look more realistic(armors characters, monsters, enviroment).
everybody wants it to have the feel that diablo 2 had.

ive been playing diablo games for 5 years. diablo 2 is MUCH MUCH better than 3.

come on, it looks like world of warcraft, yeah the graphics are great, but it takes away the medievalness.

It looks too goofy anyway.

diablo 2 is unique,

diablo 2, look at their armor & shit it looks so real!!

in diablo2, theres so much more bosses,

more cinematics

more areas

eg:

rogue encampment
luht golein
travincal
pandemonium fortress
the barbarion place thingy,

they shhould make more!!!
more classes, more items,
more spells, runes, jewewls,gems,

BUT KEEP THE SAME GRAPHICS.
they're truely unique,

diablo 3 just take away the darkness that there was in diablo and diablo. the graphics make it look like world of warcraft.

It's not gonna keep me from playing the game, and chances are, you neither. If you're hurting your balls so bad, just turn the contrast on your screen down once you've bought the game. The game should be good but i think the graphics are pretty shitty for todays standards. and the game does look a bit like world of warcrack. which is pretty gay. however i like the added gore and such. should be a pretty bamf game.

Yeah! the game could be great but I think Diablo 2 is more realistic in graphics than D3. on D3 the trees and surrounding areas looked like paintings. I do hope they can still fix this

Diablo 1, you walk down into a dungeon, in the distance you hear "ahhh... fresh meat" and you walk into a small room with bodies of mutilated people on stakes and hanging from hooks on the wall. The Butcher!

Diablo 1 fits the lore, mood, and atmosphere better than Diablo II and Diablo III.

i agree with you at 100%; for the dark ambiance, nothing beats the original but lets hope for a strong gameplay to compensate for the fuckin cartoon we've seen so far
